A letter for their father whom they thought had long since passed away. And a letter for their brother whom they did not know existed. There is the search of the twins, but there is also the horrific life story of their mother. The film is simultaneously a thriller, family drama and historical epic and is fantastically beautifully filmed with a phenomenal screenplay. The director of this film, originally dating from 2010, later became known for ‘Dune’, ‘Blade Runner 2049’ and ‘Arrival’. This digitally restored version is therefore definitely a must-see!
