Preview: Het Vergeten Eiland

Jo and Raissa, graduating high school students, have been best friends since elementary school but are about to go their separate ways. As they celebrate their last evening together, Jo and Raissa stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to the fantastic island of Nakali, which is swarming with the magical and mythological creatures they know from the stories of their Filipino families. Some of these figures become their friends, others enemies. Accompanied by the werewolf dog Raww, who has the best intentions but is rather clumsy, and a small, yet tough group of pals, Jo and Raissa must take on the terrifying Manananggal, the most feared creature of the island. When it turns out that getting home will cost Jo and Raissa the memories of their friendship, they must find a way to leave the island as quickly as possible, before they forget each other forever.
