Themed route: Testelt, Pearl on the Demer

The village center of Testelt is determined by a number of monuments together with a typical fairly intact, well-integrated building style from the 19th century. De Sint-Pieterskerk, the oil warehouse, and the villa Terwolf of industrialist Alfons Theyskens and the 15th-century water mill are a stone's throw from each other. De Demer determines the character of the village in combination with the village buildings. The surroundings of the Voortberg, a 50-meter-high witness hill of the Diestian Sea, were protected as a landscape in 1982.
