Siglo XX

Siglo XX embodies raw, confrontational cold wave forged from industrial decay and underground defiance. Siglo XX originated from noise, frustration, and the urge to break something in the Genk of the late 70s. With punk in its blood and darkness as fuel, the band built a ruthless sound that navigates between post-punk, cold wave, and tension. Songs like those on ‘The Art Of War’, ‘Answer’, and ‘Dreams Of Pleasure’ sound raw, tight, and dangerous. The comparison with Joy Division was often made, but Siglo XX was always more erratic, harder, and less conciliatory. This is music that does not want to comfort, but confronts and puts you on edge. Siglo XX is not heritage, but underground that is still on fire.
