Open garden day: turn your garden into a nature experience

Ontdek De Zoetenhof, an ecological paradise on the border of Lochristi and Destelbergen! You will find standard fruit trees, ground-covering edible and medicinal plants, and everything in between. Along the sloping banks of the canals, you can witness the rich aquatic life. You will see how sticklebacks, salamanders, and other water animals have found their biotope there. Do you want to learn more about circular gardening, which perennial and annual vegetables do well, and how we attract birds and valuable insects? Both in a small city garden and in a larger garden, we can do so much to make our garden more nature- and climate-friendly. A visit is free, but registration is mandatory.
