Trekstaal goes Prehistoric Techno (WHY THE EYE | OUT OF THE DOX)

On September 19, Gitannekesfoor Prehistoric Techno brings to Trekstaal! It will be an incredible season closer with Why The Eye and Out of The Dox! Raw, tribal rhythms and homemade instruments and music hypnotize the audience effortlessly. Why the Eye is a masked quartet, founded in 2013 in Brussels with surprising homemade instruments. The quartet, shrouded in strange, hairy masks, brings hypnotic, raw music that they describe themselves as “Prehistoric Techno”. Their tribal, noisy, and experimental mixture puts bodies into a trance. Low-fi and hairy results guaranteed! The striking colors of the homemade instruments and the immersive rhythms, played without programming, take the audience on a wild, organic experience. Out Of The Dox brings an idiosyncratic electronic world in which sounds are built from scratch. It moves from tight, hypnotic techno to playful and absurd experimental, with unexpected twists and textures that can be both fascinating and disturbing.
