Myrddin De Cauter discovered as a teenager the richness and originality of the flamenco guitar. He moved to Spain to take lessons from some masters of the flamenco guitar.
His technical virtuosity, sense of experiment, and deep lyrical sensitivity melt together into a unique musical world. Myrddin is not just a flamenco guitarist but above all an exceptionally versatile talent.
This talent, which has been passed on by many generations, now comes to light again in Myrddin's daughter Imre. At only four years old, she received her first cello. On their album ‘Zwaluwe', they take us together on a journey that finds its origin in Myrddin's compositions. Imre knows and feels her father's music like no other.
She complements him in a sensitive, cutting, and soothing way. A perfect mix of sharp and soft.
