De Antwerpse Zes In 2026 MoMu celebrates the 40th anniversary of the international breakthrough of the Zes van Antwerpen with a large-scale expo. For the first time, an official exhibition is dedicated to these six iconic designers. The expo highlights the unique journey that connects the six designers. It started with their training at the Koninklijke Academie for Schone Kunsten in Antwerp and resulted in six influential solo careers. Dirk Bikkembergs, Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Van Saene, and Marina Yee put Antwerp on the fashion map when they showed their collections at the British Designer Show in London in 1986. This led to their international breakthrough and established Antwerp's reputation as a fashion city. Their idiosyncratic designs influence the fashion world to this day.
