Julian Marley is coming to Bredene for an exclusive Belgian show. Julian Marley was born on June 4, 1975, in London, and is the son of reggae legend Bob Marley. Growing up in a musical family, he developed early on into a versatile multi-instrumentalist, with deep roots in pure roots reggae. During his youth in Jamaica, he was shaped by legendary musicians and built his own unique sound. With his debut album Lion in the Morning, he made his international breakthrough, after which he further solidified his reputation with, among others, A Time and Place and the Grammy-nominated Awake. Julian worked with top artists such as Lauryn Hill and stood on stage with his brothers, including Damian Marley and Stephen Marley. With his band The Uprising, he played worldwide, from Jamaica to Japan and from Europe to Australia. As a dedicated Rastafarian, he brings music with a message: spiritual, conscious, and deeply rooted in the reggae tradition.
