Davidsfonds Blankenberge and the Gezinsbond van Blankenberge and Uitkerke organize a day trip to Gouda (NL).
Gouda is a small city compared to Rotterdam and Amsterdam, but in the center of Gouda there are many beautiful historical buildings to be found. In addition, Gouda is of course known for its cheese, but the city possesses many more treasures that you certainly do not know yet.
Around 07:00 AM we depart from the town hall in Blankenberge. There is also a stop in B-Park. (Bruges).
We enjoy during our day a 60-minute boat trip on the famous canals, the way to admire the city from the water.
We provide a joint lunch and then an hour of ‘free time’. After that there is a visit, with a guide, at 3:15 PM to the Museum De Goudse Waag with the history of Gouda and the cheese sale.
The mini-cheese tasting, the lunch and the boat trip are included in the price.
After a well-filled educational day we depart back to Blankenberge where we will arrive back around 8:00 PM.
