Change: Gastvrouw Maud Vanhauwaert is being replaced by Dalilla Hermans. Originally, the intention was for Maud Vanhauwaert to be part of the performance. However, during the creative process, the concept was further developed, resulting in a new interpretation that fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the evening. Dalilla Hermans is now taking on the role of hostess. Together with her, three powerful voices will provide an evening full of imagination and surprises: Pascale Platel, Ahilan Ratnamohan, and Willem De Wolf. ------------------------------------ “I always say (…), if others don't tickle us, we have to do it ourselves.” Remco Campert, Het leven is vurrukkulluk There is a paddling pool with children's toys. And there are two lounge chairs with a towel. But there is no water. What flows is language: words that have been forgotten, words that have been invented, words that for some reason deserve more attention, for example, because they are very funny upon closer inspection. In Vurrukkulluk can do a lot with it – precisely because a lot is possible in Dutch. The common thread is the joy of language, expressed and encouraged by a panel with names from literature, media, and the performing arts. The hostess is Dalilla Hermans; regulars are Pascale Platel, Ahilan Ratnamohan, and Willem De Wolf. One by one, they step into the paddling pool without hesitation. Do you feel it too, the wetness? That is exactly the intention. In 1961, Het leven is vurrukkulluk, the novel debut of Remco Campert, was published. As a tribute to this wonderful poet, we are organizing a playground for the Dutch language.
