That too is fate and that too I embrace with pleasure.” Jan Jaap van der Wal is now 10 years “Flemish in training” and has become an integral part of Flemish theaters and on television. The love is mutual and to celebrate that, Jan Jaap is bringing his biggest show to date in Flanders. “Because whether we go under due to a possible war, or a budget deficit, or we choke on a shrimp croquette at the seaside; we are going under anyway and let's do it with a big smile.” Jan Jaap van der Wal has been a comedian for almost thirty years and has made four full-length shows in Flanders since 2015, including the acclaimed election conference “Geen Stem”.
