At the start of the GC de Muze season, the refined world of the trio sonata takes center stage. In this chamber music form, beloved in the Baroque era, two melodic voices dialogue with a continuo. And for that continuo (a melodic instrument playing a bass part, assisted by a chordal instrument), the church's historic organ, which is said to date from the 18th century, will be used. Discover how rich and versatile this genre can sound: sometimes dance-like and light, then again intense and moving. Steven Sneyers and some fellow musicians will make a selection of compositions by Händel, Fasch, de Boismortier, and Zelenka for you. Featuring: Steven Sneyers and Thierry Cammaert (oboe), Antony Gröger (cello), and an organist to be determined. On location: Kerk Meuzegem base price: 17 ABO: 15 youth rate under 21: 10
