Shooting with live ammunition in Leopoldsburg

Did you know that Leopold I had the first permanent military domain built in Leopoldsburg and that Leopoldsburg and surroundings form the East Corner of the Tweede Wereldoorlog? And did you know that Leopoldsburg is still the military heart of Belgium? In the new Liberation Garden we will at least learn more about that important military role of this city. We also get to know ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances and step into the shoes of occupiers, resistance fighters and liberators. Afterwards, the guide joins us on the bus and takes us to training grounds and military shooting ranges where normally no visitors are allowed and we also stop at a Geheim Kerkhof...
