This performance is located in the gap between two lives – the life that was chosen, and the life that made a different choice – and asks what we do with what is left over. Somewhere, perhaps, another version of this body is standing in other wings, smoothing out another costume. Here, there is only effort, repetition, and something dark that hovers at the edges. Grief, it turns out, is not a single descent but a rhythm – a rhythm in which you find yourself again and again.
