Limburg Pride: Girl

Girl Het Bloom-project by De Serre organizes a follow-up discussion moderated by As Snoeys (Humo) with, among others, Lola Massoels (Mamba). Before and after the film, Black Sabrina fills our foyer with funky beats. Like many girls, 15-year-old Lara dreams of a career as a ballerina. She works incredibly hard at the ballet school and defies not only the intense lessons but also her body that resists. After all, Lara was born as a boy. With the unwavering support of her loving dad, she tries to form her own identity and grows – with a lot of falling and getting up – not only as a ballerina but also as a young girl.
