70th Sabbat of the Macralles of the Val de Salm 2026

**What awaits you?** Every July 20, the famous Macralles du Val de Salm gather around their Grand Maître, Belzébuth (the devil), for their annual Sabbat. In an enchanting staging mixing sounds, lights, and pyrotechnics, they tell — in Walloon — the most comical anecdotes of the past years. These stories, often drawn from real events, gently mock the misadventures of certain Salmiens or local personalities. Because, here, when something funny or unexpected happens to someone, we say they have been "emmacrallé" — in other words, a victim of a spell cast by a Macralle! No worries if you do not speak Walloon: a simultaneous translation in French and Dutch is projected on a giant screen, so that everyone can savor the subtleties of this show. **ON THE PROGRAM:** • From 7 PM: FREE entertainment for children • 9:15 PM: Taking of the keys • 10 PM: Sabbat • 11:30 PM: Concert by BOULDOU in the municipal park RATES: • 6 euros (16 years and older) • Free for those under 16!
