Farnoosh is an Iranian girl, small in stature, fiery by nature. Sitting still is not for her. Her hands, feet, and thoughts – everything wants to move forward. From her room, she looks out onto two worlds: the mountain as a silent guardian and the world outside that is constantly changing. War forces the family to flee. Between home and outside, between hope and uncertainty, she seeks her own voice. Echoes of the mountains is a visual symphony in which live music and illustrations come together on stage. Together they bring a personal story that simultaneously feels timeless. The music resounds as a universal echo of the human heart and gives sound to the growing call for peace.
