Twilight Sound 1: Amaea Rae

Amaea Rae makes alternative soul that gets under the skin, with her voice as a compass between stillness and eruption. With a light lo-fi/punk edge, she weaves r&b, afrobeat, and indie, in the line of Betty Davis, Kae Tempest, and L’Rain. Behind the project is Rahmat Emonds, who gained her stage experience at, among others, Stef Kamil Carlens and can also be seen this year at the Biënnale van Venetië with Miet Warlop. Practical:  Schemersound, these are small fine concerts at dusk in Park Ter Beuken. Free admission. De Schemerbar opens at 7:00 PM, provided by theater group Lust naar Kunst.
