From director's villa and mining site to Zoo van Zwartberg to LABIOMISTA. Discover the history of the place and dive into the immersive story behind the Zoo van Zwartberg.
LABIOMISTA is a place in motion. A landscape where past, present, and future continue to meet.
Together with a guide, you will discover the historic director's villa of the mine. You will get to know the history of the place and the new meaning it is given today within the vision of Koen Vanmechelen's LABIOMISTA.
In neighborhood café Da Mangia, theater group Voorwadist will then take you to ZOO VERGETEN. This performance tells the story of Isabella Drijkoningen, the woman behind the Zoo van Zwartberg, and weaves historical facts with fiction. An invitation not only to look at a place, but also to listen to the stories it continues to tell.
