7seera T9seera (Vol.1) -Listening Session

Through collective listening to music and conversations sparked by anger, a multi-voiced playlist emerges. 7seera, T9seera (Hsira w Tksira) is a participatory sound art project in which the Moroccan multidisciplinary artist Nabila Halim uses music, cooking, and conversation as a starting point for collective gatherings focused on healing. For the first volume of 7seera, T9seera, several groups of about fifteen people gathered, each bringing pieces of music that resonate with the phrase “Anger, I flee from you; Anger, I dwell within you.” These gatherings were recorded to create a sound archive, produced by Laure Merlo (Tuba collective) and integrated into an interactive platform by Laure Fesler. Through collective listening, a multi-voiced playlist emerges: words, stories, and music—a field of connections and reverberations—that weaves a multi-voiced narrative about anger—an emotion that is so politically charged and often deeply repressed.
