On Saturday, September 26, we are hosting the duo Emilie Mover & John Snauwaert at 8:30 PM in ’t Uilekot. Emilie Mover, singer-songwriter from New York and Toronto, is known for her unique, understated style in which jazz, folk and country come together effortlessly. Her music, inspired by greats like Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Leonard Cohen, was picked up worldwide in films and TV series. She has already released seven albums and won a Canadese Juno Award in 2013. Together with musical world traveler John Snauwaert, she brings a series of authentic, compelling songs this evening that touch you to the core. Snauwaert is an internationally appreciated musician and, as a saxophonist and flutist, envelops the songs with warm, expressive sounds.
