In 1900, the young architect Gaspard Devalck buys a large plot of land in the countryside of Schaerbeek. He builds six houses there, including one for himself and his mother. The architect's house was bought back in 2018 in a rather dilapidated state. The new owners began the work with the restoration of the admirable facade decorated with sgraffiti with plant designs by Privat Livemont, which has regained all its splendor. It contains a set of exceptional stained glass windows probably due to the master glassmaker Raphaël Evaldre. You will have the chance to take the tour with the owner of the premises who is also an expert in stained glass.
