Approximately one in three people will deal with mental health problems in their lives. Yet there is still a major taboo surrounding it. And it is often difficult to talk about it and seek the necessary help. That is why EMMAUS & STORMKOP are organizing a festival full of resilience, self-care, awareness, connection, and vulnerability. That is quite a mouthful… On Sunday, October 11, the Dry Docks will be entirely dedicated to mental well-being from 11 AM to 6 PM. Come aboard our LIGHTSHIP with your backpack full of obstacles and talk to numerous specialists and therapists. They will go in search of light at the end of the tunnel together with you. Help build the longest bench of connection. Step out of your head and end up completely in your hands. Feel the wooden planks. Find courage to open up and sit at a table with a stranger. Talks, performances, workshops, bodywork,... around discovering yourself. As well as in connection with others via movement, words, images, theater, music, building,... Experience together or alone with yourself a sensory-stimulating experience, that touches and matters. Strike up a conversation with an expert by experience.
