Bye bye, till the next time – Ode to TC Matic

Emma Rotsaert (24), young and furious, renowned actress (How to Kill Your Sister, Play4 & Streamz) and experienced stage animal (Parkaparaplu & Body Electric, Sisters of Mercy-tribute), has been wild for years about a band she has never seen live: TC Matic. TC Matic is the most legendary post-punk formation of Belpop from the beginning of the 80s. Met Arno Hintjens, Jean-Marie Aerts, Serge Feys, Ferre Baelen and Rudy Cloet. Emma Rotsaert, a wild girl from Bruges, completely puts the sharp, rock-hard grinding funk rock of TC Matic to her hand. The hits are there, but especially the forgotten live classics shine: The Parrot Brigade, L’Union fait la force, Que pasa, I’m Not Gonna Listen, Ha Ha, Being Somebody Else… To be sure that no stupidities are told, she has engaged Marcel Vanthilt. He was there from the first minute, went on tour with the band, and did the light show. Vanthilt is going to do that again during this tour: a light show from the stage. He will also not hold back from publicly throwing around unknown and juicy anecdotes about the five musical tenors of TC Matic shamefully, but with never-waning love.
