Echoes of the mountains, BRONKS & Farnoosh Khodadadeh

I am Farnoosh. I live in a house, at the foot of a mountain, where the air is filled with stories and my mother's music makes the walls vibrate. I am Farnoosh. Small in stature, fiery in nature. Sitting still is not for me. My hands, my feet, my thoughts – everything wants to move forward. People watch, whisper, shake their heads. But that's how I am: always wild, never still, and occasionally a strong will. I am Farnoosh. My room overlooks two worlds: the colossal mountain that stands like a guard outside my window and the steel birds that have been whizzing by for a while. Often I stare outside, there I see more and more dark clouds colliding against my harmonious haven. Every time the clouds gather threateningly, my family and I flee from the storm, waiting for a softer breeze, before we return to our big city. Echoes of the mountains is a visual symphony in which live music and illustrations merge on stage. A timeless story about a girl who, in the midst of a turbulent period in Iran, struggles with questions about identity and connection. In which music, as the universal echo of the human heart, gives sound to the increasingly loud call for peace. For everyone from 8 years old
