Like a pop star in stuffed animals, Sien Van Acker appears on the tightrope: wobbly, cheeky, and full of bravado. In ‘MORE IS MORE’, she brings tightrope walking, singing, glitter, and confetti together with a good dose of clownish self-mockery. Behind the glamour, doubt and vulnerability emerge. Funny, rebellious, and moving at the same time. About the company Sien Van Acker studied at ACAPA in Tilburg and then specialized further at Esacto'Lido in Toulouse, where she graduated in 2023. Since then, she has been developing her own artistic language: a fusion of tightrope walking, clownish expression, and self-designed costumes. She flirts with kitsch, plays with expectations, and invites the audience into a universe where vulnerability and bravado are close together. With ‘MORE IS MORE’, she reinvents classical tightrope walking and sprinkles a good portion of glitter over the stage, without losing the sharp edges. More info
