AfritDrongen music festival 2026

AfritDrongen music festival is a FREE music festival for young and old at the atmospheric Drongenplein. The fifth edition will take place this year on Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29. The programming is finished. The posters have been printed. You will see them appearing here and there in the street scene. Take a good look, it is once again a beautiful and varied line-up. The jazz of Thomas De Cock Quintet, R&B of Helena Casella, soul with Fred Gata, the post-punk of thenightclub, garage rock of The Mudgang, and a funky party with Arp Frique & The Perpetual Singers. Anyone who likes to dance can do so to the Southern tones of Rumbaristas and the Ghent blues of Missy Sippy All Stars. And don't forget, the children will be jumping around with Jungle Skills. AfritDrongen music festival is 5 years old this year and we want to celebrate that with an OpenAir on Friday, August 28!
