There is more than 600 years between the life of Johann Sebastian Bach and Omar Khayyam. Yet these two geniuses seem destined for each other. Both unite mastery in mathematics with a spiritual world view. Constantinople brings these two artists into conversation with each other. Arrangements of some of the most catchy arias by Bach are interspersed with poems by Omar Khayyam. These are sung in Persian as an answer to Bach’s music.
