Bat Night in the center of Leuven

Fancy an unusual nature walk in the city center? Then join us on an excursion during the Night of the Bat! We will teach you everything you need to know about these beautiful, hidden creatures that take over the streets of Leuven after sunset. We will show them both up close and in full action, and we will also ensure you can hear their hidden singing. A unique experience, for young and old! During a short evening walk in the city center, a bat guide will lead the way. Bring a flashlight; we will provide our bat detector so that the sonar sounds of the Leuven bats are also audible to our human ears. Both before and after the walk, you can enjoy a drink in our Batbar. We also provide children's entertainment. De Nacht of the Bat takes place in collaboration with Buurtcentrum Sint-Maartensdal, Regionaal Landschap Dijleland and Natuurpunt Oost-Brabant.
