For this new project, the big band pays tribute to Maya Angelou, an immense poet, author, and activist, whose words continue to resonate with strength and humanity. Inspired by her texts, the big band musicians have composed and arranged an original, sensitive, and powerful repertoire, in her image. Between orchestral jazz, freedom of improvisation, and poetic commitment, this concert will be much more than a performance: a living experience, shared with the public, who will participate in the birth of this album.
