Shai Terry & Georgi Mundrov - Mezzo-soprano and piano recital

Georgi Mundrov followed his training in Sofia and Frankfurt and is today a professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater des Saarlandes in Saarbrücken. He is a fixture within the European music landscape: a pianist with an impressive career and a subtle talent for discovering and guiding young musicians. The mezzo-soprano Shai Terry is a brilliant example of such a discovery. Shai Terry started singing lessons in Tel Aviv at the age of thirteen. She graduated cum laude from the Buchmann-Mehta Academy of Music and subsequently obtained her master's and postgraduate degree at the Universität für Musik in Mainz. Meanwhile, she built a strong international reputation: she is a guest singer at the Jerusalem Opera, participated in numerous chamber opera productions and masterclasses, and performed in various prestigious German concert halls. On stage, she shone in lead roles in operas such as ‘Carmen’, ‘La Traviata’, ‘Der Rosenkavalier’, ‘Le nozze di Figaro’, ‘La clemenza di Tito’, and ‘Die Zauberflöte’.
