Summer Films | Sweaty Shorts

An uncomfortable trip to Provence, a sweaty summer that makes you dream of a swimming pool or a sultry romance. Expect relevant themes in a summery atmosphere in these four films. Kortfilmfestival Leuven put together a diverse short film compilation that sticks at least as much as a melted popsicle on a sultry summer day. The compilation consists of the films The Swimming Pool (Pablo Manchado Cascón, Santiago Cardelús Ruiz-Alberdi), Moineau (Jan Maes, Michel Van Daele), Purebred (Caleb J. Roberts), and Shutterspeed (Jasper De Maeseneer). ---- From July 11 to August 6, you are welcome twice a week for Summer Films. For films with a twist, previews, or live-accompanied animation: one address. Or rather: eight different addresses, all outdoors, in Leuven and all its postal codes. Pull up your own chair or blanket, bring a snack or drink, and wait for the sun to set. Admission is completely free! In collaboration with Stad Leuven and WZC Sint-Vincentius.
