NO OLD LADIES is a heartwarming theater performance. The grande dame of Flemish theater, Chris Lomme, shares the stage with the Hartenspelers of HetGevolg. Together, they bring an ode to old age in all its facets: from the passion and adventure of today to the memories of long ago. In this performance, controversial topics are not avoided. What is often applauded in young people is sometimes hushed up in the elderly, but blood will tell. It is a plea for the 'shaky voice' and a celebration of the fact that zest for life has no expiration date. Stories from the past and present come together in an intimate setting full of live music, text, and here and there even a little dance. Regisseur Stefan Perceval and author Marit Stocker created a world in which vulnerability and strength go hand in hand. A performance especially intended for those over 70 (or those accompanied by them), presented in a place that invites meeting and recognition.
