This is an exclusive location in the heart of the Vlaamse Ardennen.
The historic hunting lodge and country retreat with park garden by architect Jacques Wirtz is recognized as one of the most beautiful remaining estates from the beginning of the twentieth century.
The building was built as a hunting lodge for the Ghent noble family de Kemmeter in 1928 and later housed the former top restaurant Hostellerie Shamrock.
The villa is an early design by architect Charles Hoge (1890-1962) in the so-called ‘Style Hoge’. Inside the villa, a special painted decoration in Moorish style can be seen. Since 2023, the domain has been open for guided tours.
Parking is possible on the spacious driveway of the villa (max 25 cars) – Louise-Marie Manor & Gardens is private property
