He is a guitarist, podcast host, radio presenter, sports commentator, and is in possession of a blue belt in Brazilian jiujitsu. The general public knows Andries best as the host of Welcome To The AA. Together with Alex Agnew, he talks to interesting people every week. From scientists to athletes and everything in between, as long as they have a good story to tell. The podcast reaches more than 450,000 listeners monthly and has been the unbeatable number one in the Flemish podcast charts for years. Another constant in his life is metal. Andries has a career behind him as a guitarist in the successful metal bands Born From Pain, The Setup, and Diablo Blvd. Meanwhile, he is one of the references in our country when it comes to metal. Andries is also co-host of the podcast Oep z'n bakkes, a show about mixed martial arts. You also hear him regularly as a commentator for combat sports on Play Sports. Moreover, he is a reserve stadium announcer at Royal Antwerp FC (a.k.a. Den Antwerp).
