Do you also have the feeling that everything is always racing by at turbo speed? Getting up, getting dressed, eating breakfast, going to school, hobbies, sleeping, and all over again. But what if we shook those habits up completely? What if multiplication tables suddenly disappeared? Afternoon snacks were the only meal of the day? Homework hid itself? What if you could only walk upside down? Could fall into the sky? Arms became legs and shoes fit perfectly on your head? In 'Inside Out', recognizable habits go off the rails, movements end up in the wrong situations, objects pop up where you never expect them, and everyday scenes become absurd. Is this strange? Or surprisingly recognizable... Three performers take you on a visual trip full of optical illusions, physical humor, and unexpected twists. Interpersonal relationships constantly shift: Who takes the lead? Who follows? Can you break habits alone, or do you need others for that? And what happens when you decide together to play by different rules? 'Inside Out' is an absurd dance performance about breaking free from what is 'expected' and making room for imagination. For children aged 6 and up and their families, who love to turn the rules of daily routine upside down together. 'Inside Out' is the fifth production by LAP, after the successful performances 'Choco or Cheese', 'Level Q', 'Time play', and 'Willen Meten Wat Wij Weten'.
