The Christophers

Once, Julian Sklar (Ian McKellen) was an icon of the London art world. Now he lives in seclusion, surrounded by unfinished canvases. His estranged children want to secure their inheritance and send the young painter and part-time forger Lori (Michaela Coel) to him. She must pose as an assistant and try to gain access to a legendary series of paintings, The Christophers, which Julian has hidden deep in his studio. The plan is for her to finish them after his death so they can be sold for a fortune. But what begins as pure deception soon becomes much more complicated.
