Bike ride to Big Jump

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, the 22nd edition of the Big Jump will take place — the annual European moment when people jump into natural water all at the same time to draw attention to the water quality of our rivers and streams. We are also participating at De Mark! De Big Jump in the Markdal is organized this year by association Het Markdal in the Nederlandse Galder, and Natuurpunt Markvallei invites everyone to cycle there together. In about an hour, we will ride as a group from Hoogstraten to the jumping location at Daesdonckseweg 3 in Galder. We depart at 1 PM at De Mark at De Laermolen in Hoogstraten. Everyone is welcome: whether you take the plunge into the water yourself or come to enthusiastically encourage the jumpers — just come along!
