De Seniorenraad van Overijse welcomes you to its annual seaside day. 8:15 AM: Afspraak Watermolen Overijse Centrum 8:30 AM: Departure from Overijse center (Watermolendreef) The buses depart at 8:30 AM from the center to Nieuwpoort, with a stop at the fish market for those who want to walk to Nieuwpoort Bad. The bus will then continue to Nieuwpoort Bad, where the rest will get off. We will have a joint lunch at 1:00 PM in Hotel Sandeshoved.  Menu (choice of:) - Vlaamse Stoofvlees, mixed salad, fries - Gegratineerd Nieuwpoorts Visserspotje, fries - Vegetarian meatballs in tomato sauce, salad, fries Soup and dessert (choice of chocolate mousse or pastry) are included Water on the table + coffee with dessert; other drinks are to be paid for. At 3:00 PM arrival at visitor center Westfront for a guided walk with the theme: Water as a weapon during WWI This walk lasts 1 hour and 25 minutes, distance of 1.2 km. During the walk, there are no places provided where people can sit down for a while. 4:35 PM Boarding the bus to Sandeshoved Nieuwpoort Bad.
