On the table is a large cake. Dikkie Dik tastes… and keeps eating. “Stop, you’ll get sick!” But he doesn't listen. The cake is gone. Now he has to go looking for ingredients for a new apple pie himself. That, of course, doesn't go flawlessly. Will the party still turn out okay? Dikkie Dik en de taart is a warm, musical performance for toddlers and preschoolers, in which children actively participate in singing and shouting. The story comes to life in a large book with original drawings by Jet Boeke. After the performance, we open not only our culture café but also the doors of our pop-up craft workshop. This way, parents can catch up with family and friends while the children get to work with a table full of craft materials.
