Join Diego García (Twanguero) for an intimate solo performance that follows a musical journey along the backroads of the Americas. Originally from Valencia and currently active between Spain and the Verenigde Staten, his work draws from Spanish folk roots while weaving in influences from Latin American and North American musical traditions. His playing moves fluidly between styles, creating a musical language that feels both timeless and deeply personal. A Als Latin Grammy Award winner, García is internationally recognized, both for his solo work and for his collaborations within the global music scene. His recordings — including The Brooklyn Session , Argentina Songbook , and Carreteras Secundarias — reflect a continuous exploration of the guitar as a storytelling instrument. Alone on stage, García shows the full expressive range of the guitar — rhythmic, melodic, and percussive — and transforms the instrument into a voice in its own right. Each piece carries the impression of landscapes, cultures, and moments he has collected along the way. The program includes music from The Brooklyn Session , Argentina Songbook , Carreteras Secundarias Vol. 1 & 2 , selections from Panamerica , as well as original, unreleased material.
