A 360° VR film experience
about loneliness
“Nice that you
see me”
This
installation takes young and old on a journey through the inner world of a
child who feels ‘all-alone’, trapped in the enchanting oppression of
loneliness.
In this
experience everyone – from 7 years old – is handed a VR headset and takes
place on a chair. You close your eyes to the physical space around you, put on the
VR headset and step into a 3D film world. There you make a visual journey that
is supported by beautiful music.
ERGENS is both a collective and an
individual experience: while you visit the installation together with 33 others,
you are alone when you put on the VR headset. In this way you are invited to think
about the impact of loneliness and the strength we find when we make contact and are seen.
