A food forest - a hype or a concept?

Het Voedselbos Achel originated from a neglected orchard and has grown into an educational food forest. The food forest is intended to make the visitor aware of the value of nature. Here you will learn more about the specific characteristics of a food forest and the unique cycle of edible nature for humans and animals. This tour, by manager Tineke, is for adults only. Depending on weather conditions, sturdy, waterproof shoes are recommended.
