At the crossroads of intimate Latin pop and danceable folktronica, between the colorful Amérique du Sud and multicultural Brussels, Paloma del Rey bases her music around the charango while experimenting with electronic sounds. With her record written in Spanish, the Belgian-Chilean singer speaks to us of a quest for roots, meaning, vulnerability, cultural blending, and reconnection with Chile.
Paloma del Rey has a voice that is at times soft and moving, at times powerful and solar, thus inviting us to travel through the landscape of emotions. Accompagnée de Kaluze on stage, she mixes charango, ronroco, cuatro, Amerindian flutes, and percussion, creating an atmosphere that is as organic as it is electronic.
