Creeping out with Jean Ray in the library

CREEPING OUT WITH JEAN RAY in the LIBRARY Als John Flanders he wrote piles of Vlaamse Filmkens, as Jean Ray he created dark fantasies and the magical-realistic masterpiece Malpertuis, filmed with Orson Welles and Susan Hampshire. Halloween is the ideal moment to immerse yourself in the unexpected, mysterious and sometimes downright bizarre imagination of this Gentse Meester of the Fantastische Literatuur, as Raymond Jean De Kremer died in 1964. On Friday, October 30 at 8 PM, the Library (Lokerenbaan 41) welcomes you for an evening full of chilling stories: discover how the Graveyard Keeper is doing, what peculiar marriage awaits Mejuffer Bonvoisin, what happens to Gouden Tanden after you die, or other hallucinations from Jean Ray’s wonderful universe… Five Zeelse storytellers will take you along.
