Laika, master of projects where theater and gastronomy perfectly go together, invites you for a unique experience! An artistic-culinary experience whose concept is as simple as it is brilliant: every participant brings 400 grams of ingredients. Peter De Bie, Sara Sampelayo and Arnout Vandamme conjure the flavors, scents, and colors of the food into a festive three-course menu. 400 grams to share is a gastronomic feast, a joyful celebration of hospitality, a long table full of strangers who - who knows - become friends. An artistic meal full of generosity, creativity, and the magic of being together. The open kitchen determines the rhythm of the evening, including play and music. Laika connects again with 400 grams to share with their phenomenal ‘eating’ performances such as LANDMAAL (2025), ZEEMAAL (2022), Cucinema (2011) and Me Gusta (2009) which could previously be tasted in Hasselt. rules The vegetarian ingredients are provided by the audience/participants. Vegetables, fruit, flour, and possibly dairy are welcome, but 400 grams of salt, meat, fish, and alcohol are not. The preference is for fresh ingredients of sustainable or organic origin. Based on the food, which is collected two days before the event, Laika puts together a unique menu. Time and location of the collection will be communicated later. Given the concept, it is not appropriate to take every allergy or diet into account.
