James Oesi Trio -

Het James Oesi Trio presents an enchanting mix of solo double bass, theorbo, and bass guitar. Together with the talented musicians Mike Fentross and Mark Haanstra, James Oesi takes you on a captivating journey to the 18th century, with surprising excursions into South African jazz from the 80s and 90s. The program contains beautiful and well-known works by grandmasters such as Handel, Bach, Vivaldi, and Abdullah Ibrahim, but in a new guise. These masterpieces have been specially arranged for the trio by James Oesi, which ensures a fresh and unique interpretation.
