Former cyclist Marcel de Sutter is preparing his son Sven for the Belgian amateur championship. A title that, according to him, was stolen from him thirty years ago. A title that this time, he is rock-solid convinced, will no longer escape him. All means are justified and Sven is therefore worked to the bone day in day out by his father in an almost inhuman way. Social contacts, especially with women, must be avoided as much as possible. ‘Cycling is for real men’ according to Marcel. When son Sven finally, just before the championship, comes out with his great love, Marcel loses his temper completely.
