Lying concert 'Sands of the Heart’

A sound healing concert inspired by Middle Eastern expression and melodies. Soft, warm tone colors that open the inner world. Darbuka, Arabic flute, handpan, gong, and numerous other instruments take you to an inner landscape where time slows down and everything feels lighter. Each tone carries a subtle movement, as if the sand of your heart is shifting very slowly and creating an open, calm place again. Sands of the Heart invites you to soften. To catch your breath. To feel how sound supports you in letting go. Not by pushing, but by becoming soft, by receiving. In the resonance of flute, string, and rhythm, a deep inner clarity arises, a quiet oasis in which you can come home to yourself. A yoga mat, blanket, and pillow are ready for your arrival. So you don't have to bring anything yourself. Biografie Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on humans. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was able to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has had more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders but also in the Netherlands. He played at, among others, Tomorrowland, the Japanese garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his lasting innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret via live looping. In the past, he played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, teambuildings, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
